Five Life lessons that NCC taught me
Five Life lessons that NCC taught me
“And one day she discovered that she was fierce and strong and full of fire, and that not even she could hold her self back because her passion burned brighter than her fears”
Like every other teenager girl I have also made a lot of plans, graduation plans was one of those plans or I can say it was the very first plan of that never ending list .yet no matter how strange or big those plans are ,I always keep increasing the list.
So here I present the most beautiful phase and worth writing phase of my life where I tried, failed and fall again and again then stand again but moreover I learned.
Wearing the uniform for the first time:
I remember the day when I wore the uniform for the first time it was an extremely proud feeling and the moment I wore that uniform a civilian girl turns into a disciplined responsible cadet, and found that there is some magic in that khakhi, it isn’t just an uniform but a flooding emotion, unprecedented love that every cadets heart stands for.
And that day I found that this is not going to be enough…
“Ye dil maange more”
Finding the core values of life-
“UNITY and DISCIPLINE” is the motto of NCC and this is the very first thing that every cadet is being taught since day one of joining it.
The five core values that I learned from NCC, are..
INTEGRITY: Do what is right and say what is true.
RESPECT: Respect for me governs by manners and respect for other governs by moral.
SERVE: Service before self try to serve everyone.
CO-ELEVATION: team rising up together, growth of only one person isn’t a quality of a good team or a good leader instead grow together.
Have a good intention: Be good for no reason, keeping your intention right makes a difference if your intentions are good you yourself start figuring out the solution of problems.
NCC is the largest uniformed organization of the world that can also be called A SILENT REVOLUTION.
Like me every other cadet have there own individual story and experience to tell that has made a big change in their lives.
my drill ustaad once said..
“The more you try, the more you are going to fail, the more you fail, the more you are going to be comfortable with failure, the more comfortable you will become with failure the more you would try, the more you will succeed."
